Dan's mission is to spur on organizations to become ecosystems of flourishing for their employees, leaders, customers, suppliers, and communities. He founded Spur LLC in 2020 after seeing leadership fatigue have a real negative effect on both people and profits.
Spur helps build trusting teams, develop senior and mid-level leaders, disentangle operational challenges, and shape cultures that prioritize people. Dan especially delights in helping small-to-midsize companies with frontline workers earning <$35/hr.
Dan has developed people and people-systems for 20+ years, spanning roles in talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, workforce development, education, program evaluation, process improvement, and pastoral care. He is a Senior Professional of Human Resources and serves on the boards of ActivateWork and Hope Church.

Dulcy is Spur's Director of Coaching. Before joining Spur, she was the Director of Career Development at ActivateWork. In various past positions, she has consistently walked with people as they learn about themselves and engage in the world around them.

Dulcy is Spur's Director of Coaching. Before joining Spur, she was the Director of Career Development at ActivateWork. In various past positions, she has consistently walked with people as they learn about themselves and engage in the world around them.
Dulcy began her career at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, where she developed leaders, aided as they crossed cultures (whether across the Pacific or across town), and helped young adults transition into adulthood.
She has held many positions since, developing her into a jack-of-all-trades and an expert on what it takes to lead in a variety of industries and work climates.
Weaving together all her experiences, her passion is in developing people and restoring what is fractured in this world.

Ryan has spent his career mentoring and leading students and staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He has led, and been led, on many teams with a variety of missions. Ryan most recently served as a Senior Area Director, supervising and coaching leaders responsible for multiple teams and locations across

Ryan most recently served as a Senior Area Director, supervising and coaching leaders responsible for multiple teams and locations across Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and New Mexico.
Ryan loves helping people learn to lead, and has a strong conviction that most people can, they’ve just never been coached on how.
He passionately believes that the culture of an organization is a leading indicator of its success: an organization can weather most storms when its leaders create a culture that lives by strong vision and values in service to its people and clients.
